Teriam is an AI-enhanced platform that delivers board and executive ready Cloud Access Risk reporting, supported by Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) intelligence. It was developed by a group of cloud engineers (USUA, LLC). We have spent many years deep tuning Cloud IAM for our Texas clients that heavily utilize cloud services. We were constantly collecting priceless experience and improving internal automation to deliver the best protection for our customers in the shortest amount of time. At some point, we realized that this acquired experience and the automated frameworks we had developed could scale to help other companies improve their Cloud IAM security posture — so we started the Teriam project.
Teriam helps reduce cloud access risk across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds, bringing visibility, control, and protection to complex cloud IAM setups. Its risk score model — developed and fine-tuned by engineers who have protected cloud infrastructures for years — evaluates every identity based on used and unused entitlements, last access time, tier level, and other security metrics. Identity-level scores roll up into cloud environment scores, which are combined into a final organization-wide score, shown on a central dashboard with a risk score progress graph over time.
Teriam identifies excessive permissions, unused identities, and risky entitlements — guiding Cloud Operations teams toward least privilege through continuous monitoring and actionable remediation. Instead of manual reviews or one-time cleanup projects, Teriam allows teams to continuously see who has access to what, how that access is used, and where permissions exceed actual business needs. By reducing overprovisioned access for both human and non-human identities, Teriam lowers breach risk, shrinks the blast radius of compromised identities, and strengthens cloud security posture — while improving audit readiness with clear evidence of risk level and ongoing least-privilege efforts.
